Yum Scrum Cakes

Well, this might be my favorite cake to date........................why you might ask.............it's my baby's 1st birthday cake! We did a 'carnival' themed party, if you couldn't tell :) And oh my did we have a crazy party! We were so blessed to have friends and family celebrate this special day with us. The top tier (carnival tent) was our little guys "smash" cake --- he LOVED it.

This cake turned out sooo cute and I LOVE all of the fun details. You can't really tell in this photo but the top tier is covered in a red & white marble fondant (very subtle). I also love the sparkly stars shooting out of the top and side of the cake.

What girl doesn't like to shop so it is only fitting to have a birthday cake in the shape of a purse for the World's best shopper! This cake was for one of my husbands co-workers. His co-worker is surprising his wife with this cake for her birthday..................he says she was "Born to Shop"

This was quite the fun birthday cake! I cannot take credit for the cute design because my customer, Christina, brought me the sketch of the "animal parade" that she wanted for her son's 1st birthday. I believe that she got the idea from an outfit with a similar design. I LOVE how it turned out. Thank goodness for the Cricut Cake Machine it cut out all of the fondant appliques that you see on this cake!  **Stay tuned, this is the 1st of three birthday cakes I have for this weekend!
