Painted Flowers Birthday Cake

This cake was for my sweet momma! I am always interested in trying new techniques and I have been waiting to use the technique of painting on flowers for quite awhile. So I thought my mom would enjoy this design. To do this technique, you pipe on an outline of a flower (or any shape), then you take a wet paint brush and gently pull the icing into the center to get the painted on look. I then took gumpaste flowers and placed them in the center of each painted flower!

Polka-Dot Birthday Cake

Here's a fun, girly Birthday Cake! I did three different color polka dots, as well as three different textures. The texture of the polka dots doesn't really show well in the picture but it turned out super cute!

Zoo Cake

A Zoo themed party -- what fun!!!! This cake is for a 3 year old's birthday, Abby. The top zoo animals are represented on this cake. There is the Giraffe, Zebra, Lion and Elephant! I hope that the party is fun and not too crazy :)
