Veggie Tales Cake

Here is another repeat customer! I had the privilege of working on Kathy's daughter's wedding cake. And this cake is for Kathy's grandkids. I had a great time working on this cake! I molded each Veggie Tales character out of gumpaste and I think they turned out soooo cute. Kathy found a picture online that she liked so we mimicked the design just switched up the colors to make it gender neutral.
Our sweet nephew, Eli, turned one! I can't believe that he is already one! We did a firetruck theme but played with different colors. My sis Rachel has Eli's room decorated so cute and she has a really cool firetruck painting that has more rustic red, mustard yellow color and chocolate brown colors. I think the design turned out super cute. Subtle on the firetruck elements but captured the look!

21st Zebra Cake

Well, I felt a little old working on this cake because the young lady that ordered this cake lives down the street from my parents and I babysat her and her younger brother! That's okay though ;) I'll get over my old age. I think this cake turned out just adorable! I love zebra print!

Lego Cake

I LOVE repeat customers! I had the privilege of working on Ian's 7th birthday cake last year -  I did this really cool rock climbing cake with the Phinneas & Ferb characters on it. And this year my challenge was the Ninjago Lego characters. Unfortunately, the characters are so small they are not exactly proportional to the cake but either way I love the lego inspired cake.

Jungle Cake

This was such a fun cake to work on! But one thing is for sure...............I couldn't' have finished it without the help of my hubby. You see my hubby told me a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to learn how to decorate cakes so I put him to work on this cake! I iced and stacked the cakes but Adam helped with all of the fondant leaves and palm trees. Don't you think he did a great job! I finished off the cakes with the fern leaves around the borders, as well as the animals! We did a 2-tier birthday cake, as well as a smash cake for the special birthday boy! Evan is turning one and he will get to enjoy a jungle themed party!

New Superhero Cake

So tonight we will be celebrating Kaden's 3rd birthday! He is having a SUPERHERO b-day party so naturally we had to do a superhero cake! I've done a similar version to this cake but this time we included Superman, which is Kaden's favorite! I love the bright blue! P.S. My amazing hubby helped me on this cake..............he cut out the fondant applique for the city scape on the bottom tier as well as the Superman logo!

Wedding Reception Cake

This cake turned out stunning! This cake was for a wedding reception last weekend. It was a short notice order but I had a wonderful time working on it.

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

My sweet nephew Kaden turns 3 years old today! I can't believe he is already 3 - time has flown by! We did ice cream cone cupcakes for his class birthday party! I think they turned out just adorable.

Nephew's Smash Cake

My sweet nephew, Eli, turned one in August so he got to have his pictures taken and indulge in a cake all by himself! This cake was very simple in design but I especially love the color scheme!

Gorgeous Wedding Cake

What a precious couple I had the opportunity to work with! I love when I get to meet with both the bride and groom and see how sweet they are to each other and how very much they love each other! I also loved working with the mother-of-the bride!!! Anyhow, I was so excited to work on this cake because the design the bride chose was unlike any cake I had done in the past. It is definitely one of my favorites to date! I used my handy-dandy cricut cake machine to cut out the beautiful paisley and floral designs on the cake. I think it turned out just beautiful! I also had the opportunity to make the Groom’s cake, as well as chocolate chip cookies!

Georgia Tech Birthday Cake

We had the privilege of celebrating the 2nd annual 30th birthday with our wonderful friend Daniel! Daniel is married to Monica and they are the fantastic parents to Miss Mae, who I am praying is my future daughter-n-law :) That is if she would marry my crazy son, Bennett. Haha. Monica threw a surprise party for Daniel and he had no idea and was completely surprised. What's even better is she surprised him with front row tickets to a Georgia Tech football game!!! So it was only fitting that we do the birthday cake in a Georgia Tech theme! I think it turned out pretty cute!
