Simply Ambre Cake

Well I have to write a little something about this cake..............as you see this is my favorite cake to date! I wish I could say that I came up with the design all by myself but I have to thank Pinterest for the inspiration. I incorporated ambre into the design and could not be more pleased. Not to mention I love the sparkly "25" on top of the cake! This cake was for my precious little sister, Molly, who turned 25 in October! I am so blessed to have her in my life!

My husband's grandpa celebrated his 85th birthday! What an amazing milestone! Mel is quite the talented artist and I am thrilled because he gave my boys beautiful paintings for Christmas!

Well it seems that life has gotten in the way again and I am oh only about 6 months behind in updating my blog..............sheesh. I am hoping to be a better blogger this year and I am hoping that my cake business picks back up so that I have pretty things to share with y'all :) You see 2012 was quite the busy year for my little family....I'll quickly recap. In February we sold our house and moved into an apartment & I was 8 months pregnant I might add; in March we welcomed our 2nd little boy, Beau; between the months of July - November we took 3 long road trips to Iowa, South Padre and Atlanta, GA - with 2 kids; in October we bought another house and spent about a month painting nearly every room in the house and doing a few little improvements; in November we moved into the new house; and let's just say December is all a blur between trying to get settled into our new house and celebrating the holidays!
