Simply BEAUTIFUL

I've done quite a few cakes, ranging in all different styles, and this is by far my most FAVORITE design! I wish I could say that I came up with the design myself but I actually saw it in a magazine and have been dying to replicate it. I finally had an order for a birthday cake from one of my favorite customers and knew that this design would suit them perfectly. It sort of reminds me of Martha Stewart meets Anthropologie :)

Topsy Turvy Graduation Cake

Congratulations Class of 2011!!! I had the honor of doing the Graduation cake for Miss Ivy Combs and 2 of her best girl friends.................hence the trio theme for this cake. Ivy will be heading south to A&M and then the other girls will be attending TCU and University of Arkansas! Each tier represents the colors of each school! Had a great time brainstorming the design of this cake with my hubby...............he's a wonderful designer and I'm blessed to have his amazing skills :)

These are a few of my favorite things!!!!

This cake is for a special birthday boy, Max. Max turned 2 years old today!!! His momma had the cutest idea..................each year she is going to have his birthday cake represent his favorite things during that year! So his favorite things this year were tractors, baseball, Thomas the Train and his kitty (the latter two are on the other side of the cake).  I hope the birthday boy enjoys digging into this!

Spring Time Cupcake Bouquet

This spring time cupcake bouquet was for a baby shower! I think a cupcake bouquet is the perfect centerpiece for any type of shower or special event!

Lingerie Cupcakes

Are these not the cutest little cupcakes that you ever did see! I found this idea online.......................where I always find cute ideas.........but I made some tweaking with colors.  Each lingerie piece was cut out by hand and hand painted with either the zebra or leopard print! I just can't get over how cute they turned out!

Groom's Cake

YUUUUUUUUUUUUMY! Don't you just want to dig into this cake! This cake is for a very dear friend of the family! Cristina Tomlinson, the soon to be Mrs. John Farrar, is getting married TODAY! I am so happy for Cristina & John, they are a precious couple.

Ear Cake..............."Say What"

Well this is by far the most interesting cake I've ever done :) I never could have imagined making a cake with a set of ears on top? Confused on why ears? Well this is a graduation cake for a girl who just graduated with a Doctorate in Audiology.  I shaped and molded the ears out of fondant.....I think they turned out pretty cute!
