So behind

Well it seems that life has gotten in the way again and I am oh only about 6 months behind in updating my blog..............sheesh. I am hoping to be a better blogger this year and I am hoping that my cake business picks back up so that I have pretty things to share with y'all :) You see 2012 was quite the busy year for my little family....I'll quickly recap. In February we sold our house and moved into an apartment & I was 8 months pregnant I might add; in March we welcomed our 2nd little boy, Beau; between the months of July - November we took 3 long road trips to Iowa, South Padre and Atlanta, GA - with 2 kids; in October we bought another house and spent about a month painting nearly every room in the house and doing a few little improvements; in November we moved into the new house; and let's just say December is all a blur between trying to get settled into our new house and celebrating the holidays! It was quite the year and needless to say between moving twice and being on Maternity leave I had to turn down quite a few cakes because of logistical reasons. But I'm back - I have my new cake room pretty much organized and I am ready to take on the world of cakes, again!!!!! So if you need a special, custom cake, I'm your girl!

P.S. I will be uploading lots of cake pics that I have failed to post since September. I will not be writing little blurbs but I thoroughly enjoyed making each cake!

Happy Birthday Daddy

The month of March is a very busy month in the Panter household. All three of my boys celebrate the Birthday! Adam's is the beginning of March and Bennett & Beau's are at the end of the month. I let the boys help with Adam's cake this year! I of course iced the cake and then made a fondant topper that I let the boys "paint" with edible icing paint. I sure love their creation! A little modern and abstract! Stay tuned for what I have in store for my baby boys birthday cakes!

7-Tier Wedding Cake

Here is a 7-tier Wedding Cake! This was quite the cake. This cake was iced in Vanilla Buttercream and airbrushed in a Champagne shimmer color. It was detailed with black Fondant lace around the bottom borders and topped with a beautiful arrangement of white roses.

40th Birthday

This cake turned out just adorable. I love the colors and of course the detailing!
