Fondant Wedding Cake

I think this cake turned out beautiful!!!!!! Due to the HOT, HOT Texas heat we had to cover this cake in fondant...............the original design of this cake was supposed to be smooth buttercream icing with polka dots but I didn't feel comfortable transporting it in this heat. So we made the change to fondant. The nice thing about fondant is that it creates a beautiful smooth finish and it holds up much better in the heat and you still get the delicious buttercream icing in every bite because it is also underneath the fondant! Unfortunately, I did not get to meet the bride and groom for this wedding but I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting with the brides parents who finalized all of the details for the wedding cake - are they great parents or what!!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy

The month of March is a very busy month in the Panter household. All three of my boys celebrate the Birthday! Adam's is the beginning of March and Bennett & Beau's are at the end of the month. I let the boys help with Adam's cake this year! I of course iced the cake and then made a fondant topper that I let the boys "paint" with edible icing paint. I sure love their creation! A little modern and abstract! Stay tuned for what I have in store for my baby boys birthday cakes!

7-Tier Wedding Cake

Here is a 7-tier Wedding Cake! This was quite the cake. This cake was iced in Vanilla Buttercream and airbrushed in a Champagne shimmer color. It was detailed with black Fondant lace around the bottom borders and topped with a beautiful arrangement of white roses.

40th Birthday
